A highly flexible person can tolerate a greater amount of stress or injury than a stiff one, because flexibility is associated with strength. Thus, you need to strengthen your muscles and specifically, your core muscles. Core muscles are essential components of FITness because they support your torso and provide stability, allowing your spine to remain in a neutral position during activities such as walking, running, lifting weights, and even sitting.

It is important to note that fitness does not mean that you must join a gym or enroll yourself in a fitness class. Your current lifestyle and your daily habits, along with your nutritional intake, play an important role in determining your overall well-being. If you are overweight or obese, you should take steps to change your lifestyle and eat healthy and balanced meals. As far as your workout regimen is concerned, do not ignore cardiovascular exercises because these are very effective in improving your physical fitness as well as your mind and spirit.
